Artist Assistants
Kids entering 7th - 9th grades are invited to be a part of the Artist Assistant program. Artist Assistants (AAs) make a huge impact on campers and staff, and therefore should be responsible, have an interest in arts and crafts, be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude. AAs will be trained and mentored throughout their time at camp and will gain loads of experience working with others on the many tasks that create a memorable camp experience for the younger grades.
The most important daily job of an AA is helping campers. AAs will direct campers in the hallways and common areas and will help campers with their work. In addition to helping campers, AAs will be required to assist teachers and group leaders in setting up classrooms for various art projects, cleaning up after projects and gathering supplies as needed.
AAs get to have arts & crafts fun too! AAs will have their own art experience as a group each day and will learn things like advanced drawing and painting, ceramics, needle felting, jewelry making, sewing and more!
