Registration

We are now accepting registrations for summer 2021 from families who were registered in 2020. Registration will open to new families, or families NOT registered in 2020, 

 on March 1st. Upon registration, you will pay a non-refundable deposit of $25 to hold your child's spot. Camp fees will be due April 1st. Credit from camp that was canceled in 2020 may be used toward the payment due in April. Deposits must be paid separately.

Credits from 2020 not used toward camp in 2021 will be forfeited.

Session 1: June 7 - June 11  $295

 Drop off 9:00-9:15 am

 Pick up 2:30 pm

 

Extended Day

There will be no extended day options this summer. Many Group Leaders and AAs enjoy babysitting before and after camp. A list of interested teens and young adults will be available by request before camp begins.

 

Locations 

Camp will be located in NW Evanston and/or Wilmette.

The exact location will be determined later based on our space needs, which will be determined in part by state and local guidelines.

Age Requirements

2nd - 6th grades

Camp DIY is open to kids entering 2nd - 6th grades (previously 2nd-5th grades). We accept all kids within the registration time frame, until full. Our hope is that every camper gets the full benefit of attending our camp, so we will divide kids into groups by age. Friendship requests are accepted during registration.

7th - 8th grades

Middle-schoolers can be an Artist Assistant and that information will be available in March when we know what camp capacity will be allowed by the state and other local authorities. More information is here.

Wait List

Registration is first-come, first-served and we will stop accepting registrations when we are full. If we become full, you may add your child to the wait list at no cost and will be notified as soon as an opening becomes available.

Withdrawals and Cancellations

After April 1st, if your registration is complete and fees have been paid, but camp is no longer in your summer plans, you may withdraw your child at any time for a refund less $75.  If camp is canceled due to state restrictions, all payments will be refunded less the

$25 deposit.
